3Switching, while keeping your domain at GoDaddy
- Add your domain in SyncGaze and create your mailboxes.
- In the dashboard, open a mailbox and press Migrate to copy your old mail. Choose the option for another IMAP host and enter the IMAP details from your current plan.
- In GoDaddy's DNS settings, replace the old mail records with the ones the dashboard shows. Our GoDaddy setup guide has each step.
- Check your domain, then cancel the old email plan once mail is arriving at SyncGaze.

Can I keep my domain at GoDaddy and use another email provider?
Yes. Your domain and your email are separate. You keep the domain at GoDaddy and change its MX and other mail records in GoDaddy's DNS settings. Your website is not affected.
Why did my GoDaddy email cost more at renewal?
GoDaddy's India pages list a lower price for the first term and a higher renewal price, such as ₹39 per month rising to ₹79. Check your own renewal notice for the exact amount.
How do I move my email away from GoDaddy?
Add your domain to SyncGaze, create the mailboxes, copy your old mail with the Migrate tool, then change your MX records at GoDaddy. Your mail keeps arriving at the old mailbox until the MX change.
