2How billing works
- Mail plans are yearly. Zoho marks Mail Lite and Mail Premium as having no monthly plan, so you pay 12 months up front.
- Workplace plans can be monthly. Zoho's FAQ says annual billing saves about 20%, so monthly costs more than the rates above.
- Tax is added. Zoho charges local taxes on top. In India, expect 18% GST on your invoice.
- No free users come with paid plans. Zoho's FAQ says every user on a paid plan is billed.

4Which plan fits
- Mail Lite 5 GB: small teams that mostly need email and don't keep much mail.
- Mail Lite 10 GB: only ₹16 more per user, which is worth it if your team keeps attachments.
- Workplace Standard: at ₹99 it has 30 GB plus Zoho's office apps. If you need more than 10 GB, compare this first.
- Mail Premium: teams that need archiving, eDiscovery and 50 GB.
5The free plan
Zoho's Forever Free plan covers one domain and up to 5 users with 5 GB each. It has no end date, but it has real limits. Zoho says IMAP, POP and ActiveSync are not included, so you use webmail and Zoho's apps, not Outlook or iPhone Mail. It is available only in selected data centres.
