Tick every service that sends email as your domain, and you get one SPF record to paste into your DNS.
A domain may have only one SPF record, so if you use several services, they all go into this one.
1Who sends mail for your domain?
Your SPF record
2Add it to your DNS
| Type | Name / Host | Value |
|---|---|---|
| TXT | @ | the record above |
If a TXT record starting with v=spf1 already exists, replace its value. Don't add a second one. Step-by-step guides:
GoDaddy, Hostinger,
Cloudflare, Namecheap,
BigRock. Then check your domain.
3Good to know
- SPF allows at most 10 DNS lookups, and each
include:,aandmxcounts as one. Above 10, SPF breaks (PermError). The counter above warns you. - SPF alone doesn't stop someone faking your address. Add a DMARC record too.
- Gmail and Yahoo require SPF, DKIM and DMARC from bulk senders. More about SPF.
